Sales
Mid Level

Help Ozmo expand our target markets from Telecom (today) to entirely new verticals! Ozmo is looking for a driven, resourceful, and technically curious Strategic Sales Development Representative to be the engine of our sales pipeline. As a Strategic SDR, you'll drive pipeline growth by prospecting into enterprise targets, identifying and engaging decision-makers, and qualifying opportunities through to the Business Case Alignment stage. This is not entry-level outbound— you'll leverage your experience for consultative conversations, objection handling, and early value alignment, handing off high-intent deals to AEs using the latest AI-powered tools to drive efficiency and insight.

As a growing technology company, Ozmo’s focus is on solving tech support at scale. We build best-in-class software products that are used around the world to make technology more accessible. Ozmonauts are motivated to continuously improve and love to learn. We pride ourselves in doing exceptional work that delivers real value by transforming the way people think about technology.

What you will do:

  • Prospecting & Decision-Maker Discovery: Research and map org charts using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Apollo to identify key stakeholders (e.g., VPs of Customer Service, CIOs). Conduct outbound touches via cold calls, emails, and social selling. Execute personalized sequences, optimize send times, and identify high-propensity-to-buy accounts.
  • Lead Qualification & Deal Management: Qualify inbound/outbound leads using BANT/MEDDIC frameworks. Nurture opportunities through multi-threaded engagement, scheduling discovery calls, and advancing deals to Business Case Alignment or BCA. Maintain pipeline hygiene in HubSpot, forecasting progression weekly.
  • Collaboration & Strategy: Partner with AEs on deal reviews and handoffs. Experiment with outreach cadences and contribute to team playbooks (e.g., objection guides). Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and execute targeted outreach strategies, testing messaging generated or refined by AI tools to optimize funnel performance. You will also be a frequent representative of Ozmo at industry trade shows.
  • Performance & Reporting: Hit activity targets for prospecting and pipeline coverage. Analyze metrics like connect rates and conversion to the BCA stage; optimize as necessary.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and new technologies to inform outreach and demonstrate technical acumen.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Previous Experience: 2+ years in Business Development or Sales Development with a track record of success managing early- to mid-funnel deals, ideally in a B2B or SaaS technology setting (enterprise experience is a plus).
  • Drive & Resilience: Hunter mindset with demonstrated persistence, ability to handle rejection, and a results-oriented approach—motivated to do “whatever it takes” to achieve goals.
  • Excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, compelling messages that highlight Ozmo’s value proposition. Confident and engaging presence via phone and email.
  • Technical Aptitude & AI Proficiency: Quick learner with the ability to understand and communicate complex SaaS, telecommunications, and emerging technology concepts. Comfortable adopting new tools and skilled in leveraging sales automation and AI platforms.
  • Organization & Process: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient at managing a high volume of activities. Skilled at prioritization and optimizing workflows with sales engagement tools.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel to industry trade shows, customer meetings, and company events as needed. Comfortable representing Ozmo in person with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • CRM Expertise: Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and sales engagement platforms.

Perks of being an Ozmonaut:

  • Medical, vision, dental and life insurance along with short and long-term disability.
  • Paid time off (PTO) that grows the longer you're with Ozmo as well as paid holidays.
  • 401k to save for retirement with employer matching.
  • Paid maternity and bonding leave for new parents.
  • Paid pawternity leave when you bring a new pet into your life.
  • One-month sabbatical after you have been with Ozmo for five years.
  • Flexible, hybrid work options available to support your best work.

Pay Range: $65,000 to $75,000 base with on-target-earnings of $90,000 to $105,000

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
